Made in Italy: an unmistakable mark that is
very envied by others. Why do we always write in each article that our jewels
are 100% Made in Italy?
Because each manufacture phase
of the jewel is exclusively Italian.
The published images for each jewels refer
to a model that, when ordered, is custom made, exclusively for the client who
buys it.
Our “warehouse” or “stock” is
not made of jewels ready to be sent for each new order; our warehouse is made
of precious, raw metal, that could be platinum, gold or other, and of
gemstones, like diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds.. Each time we receive an
order from a client, we start from zero and make his/her model, relating on
his/her size and on the indication the client gave us when purchasing the
jewel.

of each phase:
Between the walls of
our Antique Goldsmith Laboratory, the past is blended with the future: We
get an order from who knows where from our computer, thanks to the
formidable technology which allows us to be in every part of the world
whenever we like, even the most remote one.
A person in charge sifts the purchase and the
client’s information, therefore brings the request to the attention of the
laboratory’s Master Director, who will prepare the gemstones for that particular
jewel and the project for the requested model.
The order is brought
in the “design room” where a craftsman prepares the model with extreme
care, making the metal structure basing on the dimensions and gemstones
previously chosen.
From the design room
the raw model is brought to the “embedding” laboratory where the embedding
Master provides to the assembly of the gemstones to the realized model.
Now the model has
taken its shape, it has to be finished, and so it is therefore grinded,
polished up and added rhodium basing on the request.
The jewel now gets to
the shipping room where a person in charge will wrap it depending on the
recurrence it is destined to.
The sales manager will take care of the
shipping’s tracking, of the bill that will accompany the jewel and of the
received payment’s security.
The only thing missing
is the Director’s ok, who minutely controls the models, weights it,
measures it, and prepares its warranty certificate.
Now it is ready, and
can go out of our laboratory to any address in the world, bringing along
the result of an exclusively Italian craftsmanship, this is the real 100%
Made in Italy.
Now, is time to chose your Italian Jewel: What type of jewel has to be given
as a present for Christmas?
It
is always implied that our guides are addressed to the “mass” and never to a
specific individual, because every circumstance is different from others, and
every person has proper ways of behaviour and to demonstrate their love.
Anyway, there is a “common line” recurrent for Christmas presents which could
be summarized in these generic points.
1- Give as a Christmas present a jewel without particular motivations but
just because you want to buy a jewel for Christmas;
2- Give as a Christmas present a jewel in concomitance with an engagement
or wedding anniversary.
These
are, so far, the common reasons why someone decides to give a jewel as a
Christmas present, but there are other particular times, like in my case, where
my girlfriend’s birthday is exactly during Christmas, or for a newborn in that
period of time.
Let’s
analyze the two principal points, starting from the first.
“Give
a jewel as a Christmas present without particular motivations but just because
you want to buy a jewel for Christmas:
For
this type of present we suggest some “outline” jewels, meaning that are nice to
give as a present and adequate for the everyday life and to winter fashion;
first of all, in our client’s choices, there are jewels that report Christmas
or Winter symbols, like diamond pendants in the shape of a snowflake, with a
star shape, with winter animals shape, or with a very Christmas shape, many
clients in fact order real miniature Christmas Trees with gemstones…
Otherwise,
in addition to jewels which are identified in the Christmas scenario we have
“common” jewels which are perfect for the occasion. Like the classical bezel
set pendant or bezel set earrings. It’s obvious that, basing on the income and
on the available budget, these types of presents can be more or less precious,
starting from a basis of cost affordable from anyone, of about 1000 euros and
then get to costs of any type.
So, summarizing, if the
Christmas jewel is not subordinate to an anniversary, it is preferable to give
this type of jewels, otherwise if you choose for example a solitaire diamond ring, which is perfect for engagement a wedding anniversary presents, what will
you then give for the “real” engagement or wedding present?
Therefore leave the
“loving” jewellery represented by solitaires, three stones rings, for that kind
of times, and if you really want to give a great style present also or just for
Christmas, buy a splendid diamond eternity bracelet, a really important jewel
which will not take you away the ideas to choose presents for other
recurrences.
2- Give as a Christmas present a jewel in concomitance with an engagement or wedding anniversary.
You are lucky! You’ll get two things for one!
You will give a present that is great for both circumstances and so you
can allow yourself to spend a little more and be more incisive
If for example
you planned to spend an hypothetic sum of 1000/1500 euros for your lover’s
Christmas present and 2500/3000 euros for an engagement, wedding anniversaryring, you could sum the amounts and get a more important jewel and you will
make a great impression.
So it’s important to say that choosing the perfect
Christmas present also for an engagement proposal or a wedding anniversary is
an excellent solution.
